You see, I'm actually rather sad over the ordeal of Michael Jackson passing away. I didn't particually like his music after he turned 'white', so while I did respect him as a great artist, that is not the reason. See, the thing is, he's dead. He's not coming back, he's not going to pop back up and say "Ha, got you!". That's the end of him. There is no more Michael Jackson other than what lies in our decrepit minds and fragmented memories. Others are going to follow him down this road; not out of choice, but because we were all born with these, while impressive, limited bodies. More famous celeberties are going to pass away. Some of them I'll know, some I won't, but I'll be sad either way.
And somewhere in there, my grandparents are going to leave this world. And not at the same time, that hardly ever happens. No, one is going to die before the other, and the one left behind is going to be left wondering whether they're the lucky one for staying alive or if it's just a burden. Then Mom and Dad are going to further down the road, along with all my teachers and coaches from my childhood. They're going to leave they're families, too.
And one by painfully one, after they're kids have long moved out and stopped talked to them, my friends are going to go. Some'll be quick and possibly in their sleep, others are going to leave with a bang. Each and every one will leave me sobbing and screaming and gasping for air. Each death is going to slowly deteriorate my mind and loosen my grip on life. My kidneys ir a liver'll give out, followed by troubled in my lungs and blood work. My brain is going to rot out behind my helpless wide-eyes.
And then my lids will close, and I'll be dead, too.
No one will know this. It won't come on the news, and hours and hours of my acomplishments in life won't be flashing on the screen. But, then again, this may be a good thing. I no one knows, no one gets sad.
